Biotech firm to build $9 million plant at IBM site


After raising $9 million, a Rochester biotechnology firm is building a state-of-the-art headquarters to manufacture anti-cancer vaccines on the former IBM campus. Vyriad announced this morning that it had raised the money needed to build a "Good Manufacturing Practice" facility to produce the company's clinical-stage oncolytic virus therapies.
