Wockhardt Shares Fall After FDA Warning Letter on U.K. Factory an hour ago


The Indian drugmaker's shares dropped as much as 4.7 percent to 657 rupees before trading 3.2 percent lower at 667.30 rupees at 9:32 a.m. in Mumbai. The Wrexham, U.K. facility lacks appropriate written procedures and control systems to prevent contamination, the FDA said in warning letter to Wockardt's chief executive officer, Habil Khorakiwala, dated Nov. 16, citing an inspection in October 2015.
