ASHP Named Top Workplace by Washington Post

ASHP (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists) has been selected as one of the Washington Post’s Top Workplaces for 2016. The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces list spotlights private, public, nonprofit, and government agencies in the greater metropolitan Washington, D.C., area with the highest ratings from their employees. Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback to a survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics, a research firm specializing in organizational health and employee engagement. To be eligible for the award, at least 70 percent of an organization’s employees must respond to the survey. More than 90 percent of ASHP employees responded. “I would like to thank our entire team of over 200 dedicated individuals for making ASHP the absolute best place to work, and for creating a work environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and engagement,” said ASHP CEO Paul W. Abramowitz, Pharm.D., Sc.D. (Hon.), FASHP. “ASHP is truly a special place, and it is our exceptional team that makes it all happen on behalf of our members and the patients they serve.”
