June looms as month of selling after two months of ASX gains


Yield-seeking investors have kept the sharemarket buoyant for close to two months, shrugging off the adage "sell in May and go away", but fund managers and analysts warn that June presents risks that are too big to ignore. Since April 11, the ASX has posted seven straight weeks of gains, gaining almost 10 per cent, outperforming its developed market peers.
