I will give you a small plan how to be successful in Internet with Blog and Adsense.
1. Create a free and simple blog by blogger.com
2. Create great content - take the Theme that you really know!
3. Share this content on Facebook, Twitter and Friends Circles (may be by Google+)
4. Look for Adsense Code on blogger and Google.com/adsense
5. Learn Google Analytics Reports: Google.com/analytics
6. As soon, as you get some reader's (50-100 visitors daily) you will see first results of the Ads, that you add to your blog.
All next steps.. Wordpress, Hosting and so on.. you will understand later. Remember the main point: Content is KING!
