U.S. unveils criminal charges in Valeant probe: prosecutors

U.S. prosecutors are charging a former executive with Quebec-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals and the former CEO of Philidor Rx Services, alleging they were involved in a multimillion-dollar fraud and kickback scheme. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York says it will hold a news conference later today to announce charges against Gary Tanner, a former executive at Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc., and Andrew Davenport, the former CEO of Philidor Rx Services.
