ASHP TV to Provide Updates from the 2016 Midyear Clinical Meeting

ASHP announced that ASHP TV will provide daily video updates during the 51st ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition in Las Vegas. The daily videos provide the pharmacy community with meeting information, practice and clinical highlights, and ASHP-related news. ASHP TV is a web-based news program that provides onsite coverage of the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. Each day during the meeting, ASHP will release an episode that features videotaped interviews with attendees and breaking news from the meeting. Links to the daily broadcasts will be distributed by email December 4-8, 2016. ASHP members will receive an email alert that announces the availability of each episode and summarizes the topics covered. ASHP TV is produced by ASHP and made possible by a sponsorship from Pfizer. “Ensuring our members and other stakeholders stay up-to-date on the latest meeting news and connected with educational events and other activities is a top priority,” said Julie L. Webb, B.S.Pharm., ASHP Senior Vice President, Office of Professional Development. “ASHP TV is an entertaining and informative resource for sharing daily happenings and onsite highlights from the meeting.” As the world’s largest gathering of pharmacy professionals, the Midyear Clinical Meeting provides practitioners with opportunities for advancing knowledge, networking with colleagues, enhancing practice skills, and learning about the latest products and innovations. This year’s meeting features more than 175 educational sessions, multiple poster sessions, an award-winning exhibit program, and much more. With so many activities, ASHP TV fills the gap so attendees can stay apprised of everything the meeting has to offer. ASHP TV also reaches members of the pharmacy community who are unable to attend.
